Extra Grapple, better grip for felling big trees from stump
The EG-kit is the upper grapple, fitted with delimbing clamps, which is extremely useful to handle full trees.
A tree top represents an important weight located at a distance, which exerts a huge lever force onto the grapple. The EG-kit offers a better grip to deal with this stress. With this accessory module, a big tree can be cut directly from the stump, and it can be held vertically before felling it away.
The EG-kit can also be retrofitted easily. It’s a 160 kg module bolted onto the base grapple. The hydraulic circuit is the same as the base grapple, so there’s no need for extra hydraulic controls.
It’s suitable for tree shears Bj300-400-450 models for excavators.
