Pro Steer is the optional valve and radio control addon for running the whole tree shear movements precisely and separately.
It’s particularly helpful for horizontal branch cutting and tree felling near a road or a powerline, as the operator can direct and interrupt every move: grapple, knife, tilt, & accumulation grapple.
In small energy wood accumulation, it eases the successive cuts and prevent the tilt sequence to start inadvertently.
For big tree cutting close to the diameter limit, interrupting all other functions is great for optimizing the hydraulic power to the knife.
The tree shear works in the normal sequence Grapple > Knife > Tilt, and every function can be activated and deactivated at any time.
No extra hydraulics, no extra cabling.
